I want to let everyone know who much Woody's in College Hill helped me out with some massive repairs that I had put off for years. Started out small in 2019 with a dash warning light about my 'Passenger Air Bag'. They determined that it was only the sensor (not the Air Bag) in the passenger seat belt housing but due to the age of the car and the part was no longer available new. They took on the challenge to find either a 'rebuilt' or new (from somewhere). It took almost a year, but they found one and now it's fixed. Dedication ! Then Jan 2023 the starter died and I had it replaced along with decided to get it and other stuff like Spark Plugs, Steering Rack & Pinion and Control Arm replaced/fixed. Excellent JOB!! Went back in Mar 2023 to finish all the outstanding work with all Struts/Shocks replaced and an Oil Crankshaft leak repair. My car drives like a dream - so smooth! And best of all I believe with all the work my mileage has improved!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and ALL THE GUYS THERE! Friendly, not condescending to those without mechanical knowledge and gives full explanations! Have used since I moved to Wichita and will continue!

Kyle at the College Hill location has been a boon and a godsend. Wonderful and honest to boot. Will be coming back again and again for service, no doubt.
brakes on a vehicle

Brake pads are important - you don’t need them to go, but you do need them to stop. At Woody's Automotive in Wichita, KS, we like to keep your vehicle stopping exactly as it should - it’s less dangerous, and it keeps insurance premiums low. So, how do you know if your brake pads are going bad? How do they work? What even are they? We’ve got the answers!

fleet trucks

It’s easier than ever to keep your fleet running smoothly for thousands of miles. If a vehicle has less than 50,000 miles on it today, chances are it still has 75 percent of its driving life ahead of it. That’s good news if you’re a company managing a fleet of vehicles. It wasn’t that long ago that hitting the 100,000-mile mark on the odometer was a major milestone. Today, vehicles are built to last. With the proper maintenance and attention, there’s no reason you shouldn’t expect to see that 50,000-mile reading on the odometer one day roll right past 200,000 and keep ongoing. Here at Woody's Automotive, we're going to give you some tips on how to make that happen!

Your pickup truck is heavy and hard working, whether it’s a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. If you add towing to the mix, it’s even heavier and has to work harder. Your brakes are one of the most wear and tear prone systems on your diesel pickup, but at Woody's Automotive in Wichita, KS, we can help you keep yours in good shape.

start button for vehicle

If you own or operate a fleet or commercial truck, you know it’s hard to keep everything working perfectly all the time. You have to choose what to give priority to, and what can wait. However, some small problems are indicators that a bigger issue is on the way. At Woody's Automotive in Wichita, KS, our goal is to keep you and your fleet going.

mechanics

We’ve all been here: You start up your vehicle in the morning and begin to back out of the driveway. Before your hand reaches the volume dial on the stereo to crank up your favorite morning radio duo, you hear a noise coming from your car. A vehicle shouldn’t make that noise, yet yours is. And it sounds bad. But is it?
